Folsom, CA (July 25, 2006) – The World Organization of Webmasters (WOW), the leading professional association for Web professionals announced today the appointment of Mark DuBois to the position of Director of Education. In this role, DuBois will be responsible for developing and directing WOW’s Academy education initiatives.
DuBois brings with him a wealth of experience to the WOW organization with decades of technical, education and business experience. He will be instrumental in developing and implementing WOW’s Academy education strategy to support and enhance the role of technically proficient, business savvy Webmasters.
DuBois is currently on sabbatical from Illinois Central College (ICC) where he established ICC’s Web professional degree program. He will continue to also head up WOW’s Advisory Board where he serves as chairman overseeing dozens of volunteer advisory board members that support WOW’s educational initiatives and mission.
In making the announcement Bill Cullifer, WOW’s Executive Director said “Mark DuBois is one of the most passionate and dedicated Web professional educators that I know.
